THE USE OF RADONTHERAPY IN THE COMPLEX TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS

232 patients (140 females and 92 males, mean age – 54,7 ± 14,1 years) with coxarthrosis and gonarthrosis were studied. Patients were divided into two groups: first group (n = 114) was treated radon baths, second group received radon emanatorium. Criteria of estimate were «VAS» score, Lecen index and WOMAC index. Treatment with radon emanatorium was more effective than treatment with radon baths.
